Over years of working with kids I thought I knew it all, until I had my own. I've dealt with sleepless nights, and what often seem like endless days. I've been pooped on, peed on, and thrown up on. I wear food well. I live in yoga pants. I set what I think are reasonable goals each day. One of my biggest is being able to fit in a 5 minute shower that results in no serious casualties. I am a master at making grilled cheese, and have only set the fire alarm off twice. (Thankfully my husband does most of the cooking.) I smile, I laugh, I'm tired, and I swear (under my breath) a lot. Most of all, I'm happy. These are some of my confessions. Though they are not always glamorous, I wouldn't have it any other way. My goal is to share, in a book and a blog, some of the journeys I've had with my girls thus far. Maybe you can relate, or at least get a good laugh. Thanks for following along!
